out regarding the case of A. Garcia (D. 1970), involving Daniel Delgado Diamante, I have a few notes. from the news published by the newspaper La Prensa, in several conversations during this week, I issued concepts based on the version of the newspaper in question, suggesting an undeniable guilt of the minister / former minister (do not know exactly what their status) -
however, from another version appeared today in El Panama America, equally credible, admit mistakes on my part, I mention the context in which they develop (without attempting in any way justify the self-acknowledged error)
1. has been easy to get carried away by prejudice, supported by what appears to be information in the media as we know, manipulate and are manipulated by economic interests. neither of the two versions have proven to be true, both can be false, in any case be presumed innocent, and wait (what else can you do?) the MP makes a good scholarship, and that justice has ability to meet the law.
2. it's amazing the power of persuasion of the media, beyond the conscious individual will be objective and fair. good, is to reconsider without the embarrassment of having acted on the basis of interest or simple stubbornness. it is best to learn to close those areas where sometimes sneaks irrationality.
3. the level of interpersonal trust in our country is low, and institutional credibility even worse. all this is fed by historically perverted exercise of political power over each other during our time Republican (and before).
specifically in this case: human rights violations during the period 1968-1989 and status of pending matters, the manipulation of "democracy" post-invasion and its restriction to the purely formal-election, the illusory separation of powers and judicial independence, the widespread corruption in our society, the double-triple moral, he plays live.
only hope that the case analysis focuses on the case, not the political or intention exists in the fact of presenting the case at this time. the dead, is dead, and that this is the fact.
