Renaming the square "Conquest of the Desert"
Report of actions to perform , October 12, a rally in the square Conquest of the Desert.
Today August 12, 2008, was interviewed by two of our colleagues the Chief of Staff of the Province of Santiago del Estero, Mr. Elijah Smith, who was presented the following note :

October 12, 2008 have resolved to convene a public ceremony on the occasion of the anniversary of the European conquest of American territory.
In this circumstance, we have considered calling attention once more on the absurdity that exists in the joyous celebration on the part of our societies, of events that were painful and tragic.
As the so-called "Conquest of the Desert," which was nothing more than genocide organized by economic, political and racial prejudice.
Indeed, successive waves of massive attack with superior weapons technology, as well as funding for such aggression, were released on the original inhabitants of our territory, in order to seize their land.
